DESCRIPTION:Event Date: Sat. October 29th \nTime: 3:00 – 5:00pm \nAbout the Event \nClean Walks\, in partnership with Livable Buckhead\, will host an event on Saturday\, October 29th to clean up around the Marie Sims Park area. Clean Walks is an nonprofit organization to promote\, educate\, and enhance awareness of a clean\, neat and beautiful environment for our communities through events and environment clean up. It was founded by Mei Lin\, an Atlanta resident who began carrying a bag with her each time she went for a walk so she could collect trash as she went. She formed Clean Walks to encourage other people to do the same\, and to arrange group clean-up events. \nSaturday’s clean-up is part of a monthly “clean walks” series that will focus on cleaning up along Buckhead’s busiest streets. Volunteers should bring gloves\, grabbers and trash bags. \nCOVID Protocols: This is an outdoor event and masks are not required; however\, we ask that all unvaccinated individuals please wear a mask while participating in this volunteer event.

DESCRIPTION:Livable Buckhead and Iron Hill (3535 Peachtree Rd NE\, Atlanta\, GA 30326)  joined forces to create the best running club in the city. This run club is open to all levels. Run\, walk or even cartwheel – we just want to see you out on PATH400! The Buckhead Run Club is a great opportunity to get into a weekly running routine or simply enjoy the safety of a group run\, join us every Tuesday at 6:00pm at Iron Hill Brewery for this weekly run. \nBringing back group runs in a safe\, respectful and comfortable way. \nGuidelines: \n\nMeet outside at the front patio of Iron Hill Brewery.\nParking is available immediately behind in parking garage which allows free parking.\nWaters will be available as needed.\nALL paces welcome – runners & walkers.\nRoutes will be available for 2 or 3 mile workouts.\nWhen you return from your run you are welcome to hang out and visit for a bit\, enjoy a drink or food with Iron Hill Brewery.\n\nThis is meant to be a fun\, enjoyable\, relaxing\, safe experience and to help make us all feel part of a run family again.

DESCRIPTION:Join Livable Buckhead and the Hyatt Centric every other Thursday throughout the summer for the yappiest happy hour in the city! From 5 – 7PM\, pups and their humans are invited to join us at the Hyatt Centric for free training and a cock”tail”. Each week has a new theme\, activity or giveaway. We can’t wait to see all our four-legged companions for this summer’s Yappy Hour! \nCost: Free (RSVP Suggested) \n\nJune 9th: Owner of K-9 Express and and 20 year obedience expert will be on site to share basic training for you and your pup! Our friends at Hyatt Centric will be sharing some adult beverages for our human companions and Barkuterie snacks for our four legged participants!\nJune 23rd: Ready to run with your four-legged friend? Running experts will be on hand on how to safely run with your dog. Once we’ve mastered the basics\, we’ll host our first ever doggie dash. Cool drinks and even COOLER prizes!\nJuly 7th: It’s the dog days of summer! And we’ve got a treat for you and your four-legged friends\, after a quick obedience training\, it’s our doggy splash! Doggy pools and prizes will be on site with some cool drinks to beat the heat.\nJuly 21st: Ever wondered if your dog was the next Tom Brady of agility? Join us for a fun evening of basic commands to get your pup learning basic agility.\nAugust 11th: It’s the dog days of summer! And we’ve got a treat for you and your four-legged friends\, after a quick obedience training\, it’s our doggy splash! Doggy pools and prizes will be on site with some cool drinks to beat the heat.\nAugust 25th: We want our pups to live long and healthy lives. A local vet will be on hand to share the do’s and don’ts for our best pals. From puppies to seniors\, we want all our tail wagging friends to live long lives!\nSeptember 8th: It’s the dog days of summer! And we’ve got a treat for you and your 4 legged friends\, after a quick obedience training\, it’s our doggy splash! Doggy pools and prizes will be on site with some cool drinks to beat the heat.\nSeptember 22nd: For our last Yappy Hour of the year\, after a quick obedience training\, we’ll be hosting a fun filled photoshoot for you and your pup. Local photographer\, Stephanie Godfrey will be on site to take photo of you and your pup!
