DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Buckhead Chief Engineers Council Lunch. The goal of this quarterly lunch is to provide pertinent information from Livable Buckhead and other community partners that may be useful to you and your building operations. We also want to create a forum to get your opinion/feedback on our programs\, brainstorm new ways for Livable Buckhead to serve our community\, as well as continue to foster the opportunity for networking and best practice share.  Our hope is to be able to connect with the community’s building engineers\, as many of your buildings are part of our initiatives (like ABBC\, Buckhead Recycles…). \n Networking begins at noon and the meeting begins promptly at 12.30pm. Lunch will be provided.

SUMMARY:PARK(ing) Day Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Are you less architecturally inclined\, but want to participate in the fun and excitement of PARK(ing) Day? \nJoin us as we help you learn how to create a temporary space into your vision of greenspace. This workshop will include a brief discussion on what tactical urbanism is and how that type of temporary placemaking has a value on the long term growth of a community. We will show some examples of what winning participants have created in the past and a past participant will discuss their planning process\, what successes and pitfalls. \nWe’ll end with a brain storming session\, so that by the time we are finished\, each group will a game plan on what they’d like to build and what supplies they’ll need.
