The Buckhead Run Club is a great opportunity to get into a weekly running routine or simply enjoy the safety of a group run\, join us every Tuesday at 6:00pm at Iron Hill Brewery for this weekly run. \nBringing back group runs in a safe\, respectful and comfortable way. \nGuidelines: \n\nMeet outside at the front patio of Iron Hill Brewery.\nParking is available immediately behind in parking garage which allows free parking.\nWaters will be available as needed.\nALL paces welcome – runners & walkers.\nRoutes will be available for 2 or 3 mile workouts.\nWhen you return from your run you are welcome to hang out and visit for a bit\, enjoy a drink or food with Iron Hill Brewery.\n\nThis is meant to be a fun\, enjoyable\, relaxing\, safe experience and to help make us all feel part of a run family again.

More than 19-million square feet of commercial buildings participated in the Atlanta Better Building Challenge\, the goal which was to reduce energy and water consumption by 20% by 2020… goals exceeded earlier than planned. \nThe committee is open to the Buckhead commercial property management team members to serve on and reports to the Livable Buckhead Board of Directors. DESCRIPTION:Hosted on Buckhead Avenue\, Livable Buckhead has partnered with Buckhead Village to kick off a community tree decorating event set to transform Buckhead Village’s streets into a forest of fully-decorated Christmas trees that will remain on display throughout the weekend before they are donated to the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation to spread this season’s holiday cheer. The event will take place from noon to 3pm\, alongside festivities from the day’s Holidays in Technicolor event that will continue until 6pm. Buckhead Avenue will be closed on Sat.\, Dec. 3 for this event. \nIn addition to donning this season’s pines with festive lights\, cards and fire truck ornaments\, attendees can enjoy s’mores by the fire pits\, festive blooms from Gussied Up Flower Truck\, kid-friendly ornament decorating stations\, live street art from Atlanta-based chalk muralist Jessi Queen\, a vintage photo booth from Atlanta Photo Camper and holiday performances by Xiamara (noon-2pm)\, Tinsletone Carolers (2-6pm)\, Tune Union (3-6pm) and Stylish Santa (noon-4pm). Seasonal treats including hot chocolate from Saint Germain Bakery and bites from Georgetown Cupcakes will be available with donation to the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation.

It is also used as a way for the citizens to receive information concerning all functions of City government. The system enables the citizens to express ideas and comment on City plans and proposals while assisting the City in developing plans which best meet the needs of different areas. \nMembership is open to anyone 18 years or older whose primary residence is within the NPU\, as well as to any corporation\, organization\, institution\, or agency which owns property or has a place of business within the NPU. \nThe NPU has 3 different committees\, zoning\, development & transportation\, and public safety\, which make recommendations to the City Council for review. \nNPU-B is one of 25 Neighborhood Planning Units established by the city of Atlanta to: \n\nAllow citizen input on community issues involving zoning\, development infrastructure\, crime\, and delivery of city services;\nDistribute information and facilitate communication between citizens\, their representatives and various city departments;\nMake recommendations on Variance Applications to the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) for final decision;\nMake recommendations on Zoning Applications and Special Use Applications to the Zoning Review Board (ZRB) which sends their recommendations to City Council for final decision;\nMake recommendations on Subdivision Applications to the Subdivision Review Committee\, Office of Planning; and\nMake recommendations to the Office of Planning and City Council on Applications that would change the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP).\n\nAtlanta citizens living or working in NPU-B are eligible to serve on the Board of Representatives.
