Elham Shirazi\, our telework consultant\, will be be leading the training. She has over 33 years of experience in developing programs\, resource materials and training workshops with hundreds of employers across the country.  \nThe seminar will be held in the Terminus conference room 3280 on Wednesday\, June 27 from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Livable Buckhead will also be providing lunch.  \nThis is your chance to receive important information on how to formalize your program or put a policy in place. DESCRIPTION:Are you less architecturally inclined\, but want to participate in the fun and excitement of PARK(ing) Day? \nJoin us as we help you learn how to create a temporary space into your vision of greenspace. This workshop will include a brief discussion on what tactical urbanism is and how that type of temporary placemaking has a value on the long term growth of a community. We will show some examples of what winning participants have created in the past and a past participant will discuss their planning process\, what successes and pitfalls. \nWe’ll end with a brain storming session\, so that by the time we are finished\, each group will a game plan on what they’d like to build and what supplies they’ll need.
