DESCRIPTION:Exciting news – our Sustainability Committee at Livable Buckhead is making a comeback! I hope you’ll be able to join us for our first meeting of 2024 on Tuesday\, April 9th\, from 3:30 to 4:30 at 619 Ponce. \nWe’ll be touring 619 Ponce\, a new development by Jamestown. The mixed-use building is the first mass timber building in Georgia to utilize Georgia-grown timber and a regional supply chain\, redefining sustainable construction in the Southeast. This will be a great opportunity to pick up our discussions about embodied carbon and get a first-hand account of what it takes to deliver a project with stringent low-carbon goals. \nThe Sustainability Committee helps guide Livable Buckhead’s sustainability programs and sets achievable goals for the Buckhead community from our program areas which include: Mobility\, Public Safety\, Greenspace\, Waste\, Energy\, Arts & Culture\, Health & Wellness\, Water\, and Culture of Sustainability. The committee is open to the public to serve on and reports to the Livable Buckhead Board of Directors. This committee meets on a quarterly basis.

DESCRIPTION:Livable Buckhead and the Buckhead community has created the best running club in the city. This run club is open to all levels. Run\, walk or even cartwheel – we just want to see you out on PATH400! The Buckhead Run + Walk Club is a great opportunity to get into a weekly running routine or simply enjoy the safety of a group run\, join us every Tuesday at 6:00pm at Citizens Market/Phipps Plaza (3500 Peachtree Road NE Atlanta GA 30326) for this weekly run. \nGuidelines: \n\nMeet outside at Citizens Market in Phipps Plaza.\nWaters will be available as needed.\nALL paces welcome – runners & walkers.\nRoutes will be available for 2 or 3 mile workouts.\n\nThis is meant to be a fun\, enjoyable\, relaxing\, safe experience and to help make us all feel part of a run family again. \n\n\n\n\nPlease fill out the following release form to participate in the Buckhead Run + Walk Club.
