Blessing of the Animals
Join us Saturday, October 4th at 9:30am at Peachtree Road Farmers Market. Rev. Julia Mitchener will offer animal blessings in celebration of the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. If you would like your animal blessed, gather in front of the music tent.
Note: If your animal does not travel well or get along with others, bring a photograph or a stuffed animal to be blessed instead.
Peachtree Road Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 8:30am – 12pm until December 20th. Shop over 70 local farmers, producers and artists, enjoy live music, children’s area, chef pop-up, playgrounds and more. Enjoy story time by the Alliance Theatre every second and fourth Saturday at the Music tent.
SNAP/EBT is accepted, and market will double your benefits for fresh fruits and vegetables. Stop by the info booth to learn more.
