Livable Buckhead

Buckhead is made up of different constituencies: Residents, who live in one of the 43 neighborhoods that boast 18,600 individual homes and 34,000 multifamily residential units. Developers, who are responsible for leasing 23 million square feet of commercial space and the landlords who manage it. Commuters, who drive into Buckhead every day to work. Visitors, who spend over $1 billion a year on retail sales, dining, and entertainment in the 20 square mile area.

Though each group has its own priorities, at the end of the day, they all want the same thing – a vibrant community where people live work, and play. Since 2011, Livable Buckhead has worked to understand what that means to different constituencies, find alignment among them, and suggest and implement strategies to make Buckhead a community where people want to live and business want to operate, now and in the future.
